5 Ridiculous Healthy Vape Alternatives: Don’t Buy Them!

Thanks to the tightened vape restrictions and regulations, the global vape market is becoming more and more chaotic. What doesn’t kill you makes you stranger. Common nicotine vapes have been researched and circulated in the market for a while. But how about so-called “healthy vape alternatives“? What are these and how ridiculous can they be? I will show you the top 5 ridiculous vape alternatives to quit, which are highly not recommended.

1. FÜM: Overpriced Fake Vape

According to the official website, FÜM is a flavored air device. It is advertised with the slogan: It’s just air. So how much do they charge for this device for you to suck on, and forFÜM flavor cores?

FÜM Prominent, the cheapest device costs you $69.99, and a pack of cores (3 cores inside) costs $11.25. As advertised, a pack of cores can last about 10 days. I guess they have mastered the most creative way of promotion.

In the FAQ section, FÜM claims that you can use it as often as you like and reminds you on the product page, in a smaller font, that FÜM is not a quick fix. Anyway, we know that FÜM claims that it’s cheaper than “bad habits”. Let’s take disposable vapes as an example, which are more expensive in the long run than refillable vapes.

ProductAnnual UsageYearly CostMonthly Average
FÜM Prominent1 device + 36 core packs$474.99$39.58
Geek Bar Pulse X 25K24 Geek Bars$457.10$38.09

The Geek Bar order is $17.89 cheaper during the first year because the FÜM device cost is included.

With ground shipping, Geek Bars would cost $465.10, still $9.89 cheaper. After the first year, FÜM would cost about $405 annually for cores alone.

One Geek Bar X Pulse 25K can last me about 2 weeks. So I need 24 Geekbars for a year. For FÜM, it’s one device (mandatory) and 36 bags of cores. At least, nicotine vapes are more effective and affordable for me, a former heavy smoker, than FÜM.

Vaping is a better option for me, clearly, as a long-time smoker who needs to blow vapor to mimic smoking. The most important thing is that I don’t need to pay at least $80 (cheapest device + one pack of core) to see whether it works for me or not.

2. Kencos Pro: Why Do You Need to Vape Hydrogen?

People find the composition of vaporized e-juice too complicated to evaluate the potential risks. Now what? Vape Hydrogen into your lungs and expect it’s good for your health?

Kencos Pro is funny, as we don’t inhale Hydrogen like normal people, and doctors won’t give us Hydrogen therapy as far as I know. This device releases Molecular Hydrogen as well as flavors from the flavor cartridges. The ingredients of these “flavors cartridges” (I guess this is a misspelling) are unknown.

You don’t need to worry about vape explosions all the time, but Hydrogen is highly flammable. The Kencos device generates Hydrogen via electrolysis, and this process produces Oxygen too. Don’t pay $500 or more for a time bomb.

The most suspicious part is not the unclear composition of the flavor cartridges, but the seemingly convincing research papers everywhere. All of them are provided as downloadable PDFs rather than links to the journal platforms. 6 out of 7 articles are merely part of internal presentations. And these scholars, undoubtedly, are hired by the company but declare “no conflict of interest”.

3. Inex-Air: Electronic Straw Not for Beverage

This is not even a vape. It is a respiratory muscle trainer and digital spirometer. Wow, that’s great. I hold a fake vape to inhale air and test my lung capacity every minute and wonder why it takes so long. It is the worst practice, as this looks 99% the same as a vape.

The smart part done by Breathinex is that they claim the product is “backed by 40+ years of research” but don’t bother to show any of it. At least the cost is lower than hiring “scholars” to write affiliated fake essays.

Inex-Air is another overpriced electronic straw that can’t serve you Coke or other beverages. If you need to improve your lung capacity, please use the standard instruments, which are cheaper and more reliable.

4. Nixodine vapes: Fill Your Lungs with Unknown Substances

What is Nixodine? I’ve written 5 blogs about nixodine so far. To be more specific, it’s nicotine analog vapes that you should be aware of. Different vape brands use different substances. If they do use 6-MN in vapes, the long-term effects are still unknown.

Nicotine vapes are never a vape alternative to quit nicotine. It might not help with your cravings and for sure exposes you to substances without safety guarantees.

5. Collagen Vapes: As Real As a Fever Dream

People are desperate to stay young forever. There are collagen creams, serums, and other types of supplements available. Among them, collagen vape is the weirdest of all.

collagen vapes

Collagen vapes are advertised to have “rejuvenating” effects. They usually contain collagen for sure and some flavors. The biggest problem with collagen is that the vaporized and heated collagen could potentially harm your lungs and other organs. The benefits of other normal collagen products are also debated.

6. What is the Healthiest Vape?

As we all know, our lungs are sensitive to aerosols and different gases released by vehicles and other devices. There is no such thing as the healthiest vape. Electronic cigarettes are designed for tobacco harm reduction. The harm of vaping might be less than that of smoking, but it still exists.

Nicotine-free vapes would be a better option if you want to quit nicotine for good. Other flavored air vapes could be good in concept but may not handle your cravings effectively, not to mention the unreasonable prices. As for vapes with other ingredients, they are not a good option, as you can’t vape anything into your lungs.

Last but not least, if you don’t smoke, don’t vape. If you want to quit smoking, try less harmful products.
